Yelena was introduced to kettlebells in 2011. Despite being born in Russia, where kettlebells originated, she did not touch one until she started kettlebell classes at Vancouver Mind-Body Centre.
Initially intimidated by 8 kg kettlebell, Yelena continued to practice. Consistent training and sweat paid off, and her strength increased significantly. Check out the highlights of her pregnancy workout here.
Yelena has been teaching classes at Vancouver Mind-Body Centre since 2015. Join her morning classes for a fun and challenging workout and learn how to make hardest exercises look easy (it might take a few classes to get there!).
Yelena also holds 3rd dan in both Aikido and Iaido.
