Karate is a Japanese martial art which originated in Okinawa and has a strong focus on striking (punching and kicking). Karate uses both partnered and solo practices to help strengthen one's mind and body and has been shown to be a powerful tool for helping students increase their self-discipline, concentration and confidence.
Children will learn discipline, focus, and respects in this fun and energetic karate class. This class takes a unique approach that blends psychological science and philosophy with traditional Japanese wisdom. The physical training will prepare students for success in sports while the mental training will prepare them for success in all areas of life.
